Vote Yes to protect your pension |

Have you voted in the LGPS strike ballot yet, If not, we urge you to vote YES now. Your ballot paper needs to be returned by Friday 10th March 2006. A big turn out and a massive YES vote is crucial. We need to make it clear that we will defend our members and our pension and that we will not accept any attack on our scheme.
This ballot is about fairness and justice. It is about you being treated by the goveernment like all other public service workers. If the government can protect civil servants, teachers, health workers, police officers and firefighters, that same protection must be given to our members in the local government pension scheme.
So make sure that you vote YES, get your workmates to vote and urge all non-members to join our union, that way we will strengthen our campaign.
So with just days to go, please make sure that this is your top priority.
