Britannia Building Society has removed the arrangment fee from its remortgage packages, with effect from Thursday 28th September 2006.

UNISON members taking a Britannia remortgage package will benefit from no arrangement fee or administration fee, a free standard valuation and free conveyancing, including compulsory disbursements, a saving of £829* for a typical customer.  In addition UNISON members also receive £150 cash back on completion of the mortgage.

Mike Sims, Marketing Manager at Britannia explained, "With Britannia covering the cost of switching, customers are saving hundreds of pounds on their mortgage.  In addition, the offer applies to our entire remortgage range, so customers can choose the product that best suits their needs."

Britannia's remortgage range includes fixed rate, tracker, flexible and offset products, so customers looking to remortgage should look no further.
