Herts County Serco members are unfortunately not able to participate in the ballot with a view to taking strike action on the 30^th November, and we understand that members are frustrated and unhappy about this. I’m sure members appreciate that running a ballot of over a million members whilst making sure that we don’t fall foul of the ballot legislation is no small task.

The thousands of employers were divided into Regional and National lists. Herts Serco members were on the National list, not all Serco UNISON members are members of one of the public sector pensions, so those who are had to be identified from information provided by the pension schemes.

UNISON Head Office that runs this ballot apologise for this, and they assure members that they will be balloted on any further days of action that will take place.
